Acceptable Use

1. Why this exists
Revtive can write and send messages at a scale no individual can. That is the whole point, and it is also exactly how a tool like this gets abused. This policy is part of the Terms of Service and it draws the line. Breaking it is grounds for immediate suspension, with or without notice depending on the severity.
2. Outreach rules
When you send anything through Revtive, you must:
- Have a lawful basis to contact the recipient in their jurisdiction.
- Identify yourself and your company honestly. No spoofed senders, no borrowed identities.
- Include a working way to opt out, and honour opt-outs promptly and permanently.
- Send messages relevant to the recipient’s actual, observable situation.
- Respect the posting rules and rate limits of any community or platform you engage on.
You must not:
- Send unsolicited bulk email, or import purchased, scraped or rented contact lists.
- Continue contacting someone who has asked you to stop.
- Disguise commercial outreach as something else, or use misleading subject lines.
- Post the same message across many communities to manufacture the appearance of organic interest.
Compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR/UK GDPR, CASL, and the equivalent rules in your market is your responsibility. Revtive gives you the drafts and the evidence; it does not give you a legal basis to contact someone.
3. Prohibited content and uses
Do not use Revtive to produce, promote or distribute:
- Anything unlawful, or promoting illegal goods, services or activity.
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, or content demeaning a person or protected group.
- Sexual content involving minors, or any content sexualising a real person without consent.
- Malware, phishing, credential harvesting, or fraud of any kind.
- Deliberate disinformation, fake reviews, fabricated testimonials, or content impersonating a real person or organization.
- Material that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or trade secrets.
- Medical, legal or financial advice presented as professional advice.
Regulated sectors (healthcare, finance, insurance, legal, political campaigning) may use Revtive, but you remain responsible for sector-specific disclosure and approval requirements.
4. Platform and technical limits
Do not:
- Point the agents at private, gated, or password-protected content, or content behind a paywall.
- Use the service to circumvent another platform’s terms, rate limits, or bot policies.
- Create multiple accounts to evade limits, trials, bans, or plan restrictions.
- Probe, load-test or attack the platform, or attempt to access another customer’s workspace.
- Reverse engineer the service, extract prompts or model weights, or resell model access.
- Run automated traffic against the product outside a documented interface.
5. Other people's data
Discovered prospects are real people. Treat their data as you would want yours treated: use it for the outreach it was surfaced for, keep it no longer than you need it, and delete it when they ask. If someone asks you to remove their data, do so, and tell us at contact@revtive.com if you want them suppressed from future discovery across the platform.
6. How we enforce this
Depending on severity we may warn you, throttle or disable sending, suspend the account, or terminate it. Serious cases (fraud, illegal content, attacks on the platform) are terminated immediately and reported where the law requires. We do not issue refunds for periods lost to enforcement action.
If you think we got it wrong, reply to the enforcement email or write to contact@revtive.com. A human reviews every appeal.
7. Reporting abuse
If you received a message sent through Revtive that breaks these rules, forward it with full headers to support@revtive.com. We investigate every report and act on the sending account, not just the message.
