1. Who we are
Revtive (“Revtive”, “we”, “us”) operates the Revtive go-to-market platform at revtive.com. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. For anything you upload into your workspace about your own customers and prospects, you are the controller and we act as your processor.
Postal address: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Privacy contact: contact@revtive.com.
2. What we collect
Account data
Your name, email address, hashed password, and (if you sign in with Google) the basic profile Google returns. We record the IP address and approximate city of a sign-up request to prevent abuse and, while access is invite-gated, to review access requests.
Workspace data
The product URL and description you add, the documents your agents produce, the opportunities, prospects, competitors and trends they discover, your chat history with the assistant, and the settings you choose. This is the substance of the product and it stays scoped to your workspace.
Data you connect
Only when you explicitly authorize it: Google Analytics and Search Console reporting data, and mailbox access for the accounts you connect to send outreach and detect replies. We request the narrowest scopes that make the feature work, we never sell or mine this data, and disconnecting an account removes our stored tokens.
Usage and technical data
Pages viewed, feature usage, model token counts for billing and capacity, browser and device type, IP address, and error diagnostics. See our Cookie Policy for the cookies involved.
Public information the agents read
Our discovery agents read publicly available pages: community threads, public social posts, public job postings, public company pages and search results. They record the page URL, its public content, and the public author handle where one exists. They do not scrape private, gated, or password-protected content, and they do not buy personal data from data brokers.
3. How we use it, and our legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis (UK/EU GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Providing the service: running agents, storing your workspace, showing results | Performance of a contract |
| Billing, invoicing and fraud prevention | Contract and legal obligation |
| Sending transactional email (password resets, notifications you enabled) | Performance of a contract |
| Aggregate analytics to improve the product | Legitimate interests, and consent where cookies require it |
| Security, abuse prevention and rate limiting | Legitimate interests |
| Product announcements and marketing email | Consent, withdrawable at any time |
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your workspace content to train foundation models. Model providers process your content only to return the response for that request.
4. AI processing
Revtive is built on large language models. To answer a request, the relevant parts of your workspace context (your product description, agent findings, and the chat turn) are sent to a model provider through our routing layer. Providers are contractually bound to process that content only to serve the request and not to train on it.
Model output is generated text. We apply code-level verification before anything reaches you (every URL must appear in the fetched source material, every evidence quote must literally exist in the original post, and a second model re-reviews each candidate), but AI output can still be wrong. Review anything before you act on it, especially before you contact a person.
6. International transfers
Our subprocessors operate in several countries, including the United States and the European Union. Where personal data leaves your region, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent approved mechanism in the provider’s data processing terms.
7. How long we keep it
When you delete your account from Settings, it is closed immediately and then erased permanently after 30 days. During those 30 days your agents are stopped, nothing is charged, and nobody can sign in to the account — but your data is still held, so that if you change your mind you can sign in with the same email address and everything is restored exactly as you left it. After 30 days it is deleted for good and cannot be recovered by us or by you.
If you want your data gone sooner than that, email contact@revtive.com and we will erase it without waiting out the window.
- Account data: for as long as your account exists, then deleted 30 days after you close it.
- Workspace data: until you delete the workspace, or 30 days after account closure.
- Connected-account tokens: removed immediately when you disconnect the account.
- Billing records: retained as long as tax and accounting law requires, typically 7 years.
- Backups: deleted content rolls out of encrypted backups within 35 days.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to receive a portable copy, and to withdraw consent. California residents additionally have the right to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal data as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA, and we never discriminate against anyone for exercising a privacy right.
Most of this is self-service: you can edit your profile, export documents, disconnect integrations and delete workspaces from inside the app. For anything else, email contact@revtive.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the UK or EU and are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your local supervisory authority.
If you are a person our agents surfaced
If a Revtive user found your public post or profile and you want your details removed from our systems, email contact@revtive.com with the URL. We will remove it and suppress it from future discovery, no account required.
9. Security
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt, sessions are signed HTTP-only cookies, integration credentials are encrypted at rest, and all traffic is TLS-encrypted. Workspace data is scoped per account at the query level, so one customer’s agents, opportunities and documents are never visible to another. See our security page for detail.
10. Children
Revtive is a business tool and is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, email contact@revtive.com and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We will post any change here and update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we handle your personal data, we will email account holders before it takes effect.
